The SuperScope does the job of two traditional microscopes – a basic compound microscope and a basic dissecting microscope.
With dual LED lighting this combination scope allows specimens to be viewed on a slide (light shines up from below) as well as solid objects at a lower power (light shines down on specimen).
With such flexibility in one microscope, young scientists can not only view slides and other transparent media, including Australian Notes, they can use it as a mega-magnifying glass to immediately examine specimens like flowers, bugs and rocks.
It has a 10x eyepiece with 4x/10x/40x objective lenses, giving 40x/100x/400x magnification. Great fun for scientists of all ages and a must for every primary classroom!
