National Geographic 70/400 ar Telescope Backpack: Reach for the stars with the children’s telescope with AR app Start counting stars with this National Geographic children’s telescope. The refractor telescope (lens telescope) has an aperture of 70 mm and a focal length of 400 mm which helps you get started in the world of astronomy.
It comes with three eyepieces, an Amici prism, a Barlow lens, and an aluminium tripod in a sturdy backpack. With the 3 different eyepieces, you are spoiled for choice 20x, 50x and 100x magnifications to bring the stars out of the night sky. With the Barlow lens, you can triple the magnification. With the smartphone adapter for the eyepiece, you can take impressive photos of the moon, planets, etc.
Expand your view of the sky with your smartphone For your nocturnal discovery tour, you are not on your own the augmented reality app is always your trusty travel guide. After setting up the AR app, simply clamp your smartphone into the smartphone adapter on the children’s telescope. In AR mode, the names and images of the constellations you are pointing your telescope at will appear on your phone’s display. It’s child’s play to navigate from planet to constellation and discover in a flash what there is to marvel at.
