The process of freeze drying involves extracting most of the moisture leaving behind a drier, slightly crumbly product which retains the original flavour.

This is not actually freeze dried dinosaur poo. We really wanted to introduce you to the world of coprolites which are fossilised poo. Coprolites tell paleontologists a lot about the animal including their diet which informs researchers on whether the animal was a carnivore or a plant eater.

Did you know there is a museum in Arizona USA which is dedicated to the display and research on coprolites. It is called the Poozeum.

Appearance:The candy consists of bite-sized, irregular nuggets of chocolate and caramel with a rough, mottled texture meant to resemble fossilized dinosaur feces, known as coprolites.

Flavor:The flavor is a blend of rich chocolate and caramel. Freeze-drying locks in the original taste, which has been compared to candies like Curly Wurly or Maltesers, but delivers a crunchy, airy consistency instead of being chewy.
